I stumbled upon a shot I took more than a year ago of the UP 8734 working the head end of a KG1LA stacker.

This SD70ACe has lived a charmed life as of late hauling an inspection train around the UP system.

Wonderful image as always, James.

And the 8734 resumed its charmed life leading an engineering inspection special here in the Midwest this week. No reports I can find indicating if it is still leading. But if previously posted scheduling (first link / thread below) is correct and still operative, it should be in Milwaukee tonight, then start heading back to Omaha.
