Nice series. They even smoke better than the newer GEvos. At least they look like they're actually working hard.

reminds of what i saw as a teenager in college when i started seriously railfanning. saw many a train like that in the early 2000's. i still like the looks of the es44 better, but the h2 livery at least has some semblance of a history other than alphabet soup all over it.

Love it, alot. I like the C44s in the older liveries... keep' em dirty and shooting black smoke at the clouds!

Nobody would have said that 10 years ago, LOL. It's funny how time changes things, but I agree, the C44-9W's are well on their way to becoming classic road power, if not already.
