Rainy days on Donner

The weather conditions that brought lightning strikes and forest fires to California also brought a lot of rain to the higher elevations.

#1 - Eastbound Zephyr, #6, splits the signals at the East Truckee crossover under threatening skies.

#2 - MRVRO in a downpour at Truckee meets a local out of Sparks sent to pick up a bad order stack car that had been set out at Truckee the previous day. That's my trusty railfan-mobile in the shot.

#3 MRVRO at Boca.

What I believe is the Milpitas Autos at East Truckee drown-foamed in a downpour.

Mike,

You're gettin' there. Kick in the stablizer and then some sound. Remember to get some kind of wind cuff to go around the mic.

Nice shots.

Great job with the drone. What are you flying? I fly an AR Drone but I'm not that skilled yet
