mapboy Date: 08/30/14 20:54 Re: Eastbound Manifest at The Tehachapi Loop. Author: SantaFeRuss I thought that was "The Wine Train" out of Fresno. I guess not. Does that train still run? And is it just all boxcars? Thanks for showing the entire train.
SantaFeRuss Date: 08/31/14 08:01 Re: Eastbound Manifest at The Tehachapi Loop. Author: sparky52t Very nice review of the action at Tehachapi for someone who's never been there. As an aside, I love the horse in the shade of the tree in the opening view. Looks like he's watching the train come through the tunnel himself.... a real railfan horse!

A friend of mine just last week was along the Transcon in AZ before a conference in LV. Those wine or canned goods cars get spread out at Barstow among several carload trains that he saw.
