Future of Marysville, KS, depot up in air
Author: JoCoLB

The future of the former Union Pacific Railroad depot in Marysville, Kan., is still in doubt, according to the latest weekly issue of The Marysville Advocate. The City of Marysville has been attempting to purchase the depot from the U.P. for a community center but some city leaders are still concerned about the potential total cost and possible liability.

I'm not sure how to link the news story to trainorders.com Perhaps a fellow railfan could help me out and post the full story so all of the latest details can be revealed.

Thanking you in advance.

My gosh, they had a 7-1 vote to go for it. Do they want all 8 to agree to it? upkpfan
