Here are some random shots from this summer from the east slope of Donner.

When are they scheduled to remove the old bridge?

They won't stay long. Certainly before winter arrives, should we actually decide to have one this year.

Here are a few more. I will try to get some more photos too post of the rest of the old signals before they are gone.

1. From the same spot above Lakeview, on a clear day you can see trains in Truckee starting up the grade. Just a little four wheeling to get there but great spot for afternoon photos.
2. The new bridge just east of the Big Hole near at Eder.
3. These are the signals that the new bridge replaced in the east portal of the Big Hole. Some of my favorite on Donner.
