Western Railroad Discussion > BNSF Glasgow sub in North Dakota and MontanaDate: 09/19/14 14:53 BNSF Glasgow sub in North Dakota and Montana Author: stevef On one of the latest Trains Magazine News Wires, BNSF was quoted as having added 55 miles of new double track (2 main track) already this year
between Minot, N.D and Glasgow, Montana. I have heard that one or 2 sidings were connected, but can anyone be specific where the 55 miles have been put in service on this line? 36 additional miles will go in service this summer. This project will create a double track railroad from Minot to Williston except for the 1.2 miles of single track (Gassman bridge) just west of Minot. For example, I "heard" Lonetree to E. Berthold was recently put into service.
