Everything we have ever designed can (and if we have much to say about it, is) made in America. But, the company doing the product(s) has the final say and they will answer to their stockholders and execs, who want to squeeze every last penny out. If you don't like a company's practices in that area, say something, especially if you are a shareholder and can get other to chime in. Frankly, I imagine the crew packs are such a small expense, someone at BNSF probably hasn't considered the alternatives. A lot of our clients are coming back on-shore, or at least to North America, due to various issues in China. Container ships, jumbo jet freighters, stack trains, etc. They're so efficient they literally make transportation costs on many items insignificant. We just got a new shipment of crew packs in at West Colton and they've put the trash bags back in, not sure about the bandaids though.
