Recent Chicagoland Stuff
Author: Mastadon

Just thought I'd share a trio of recent catches in the Chicagoland area since the weather has been spectacular around here lately.

1. CP 2-470 rolls eastward across Irving Park Road with a trio of new spotless GP20C ECOs and a DM&E SD40-2. The clean EMDs were a nice surprise as most CP trains around here are powered by dirty blistered GEs. Wood Dale, IL 9/23/2014.

2. CN M338 rolls through Hillside behind a former EMD SD70ACe demonstrator on CN's Freeport Subdivision. Hillside, IL 9/21/2014.

3. A pair of INRD/CIT SD9043MACs roll CP 801 westward at B12 interlocking. Franklin Park, IL 9/19/2014.

Of course, there's even more stuff on Flickr: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mastadon4935/

That CITX paint is reminiscent of Conrail. Great stuff.
