Its great to see Darrel still holding down the right hand seat. A super nice guy who fired SP steam and still drives his motorcycle to work. A real great guy who was a lot of fun to work with during our short time at Mare Island in 2012.

That's for sure CDTX! He is a great guy and taught me a lot during my two stints there at the NVR. Probably not a lot of guys who worked mainline steam still working for a revenue railroad.

The fact that he is still on the job tells you a lot.
He's having fun at a place that is good to work for.

I was out there in the mid-1990's, nice to see this operation at work again. I like that RS-11

Nice video. Does that highway parallel the entire line? If so, that would be a deterrent.
