A Bit Of A Ho-Hum Day After Yesterday's Variety On The

After a busy day with great variety, today was a bit ho-hum with a probable work window for a time today in Ritzville, WA on the BNSF Lakeside Sub at 69 degrees. Here are some of the trains that rolled by the backyard yesterday and today.

1. EB 204pm manifest train with BNSF 7348-7444-6567, CP 9552 and CSX 464 on the point.
2. An old Grand Trunk boxcar rolling in same train.

3. EB 218pm grain train with BNSF 4303 and warbonnet 940 on the point with DPU.
4. Faded warbonnet 940, but still earning money.

5. EB 509pm auto rack/intermodal train with warbonnet 719 and BNSF 1103 on the pull.

6. WB 1209pm ballast work train with BNSF 4429 on the point with DPU.
7. DPU BNSF 5302 of same ballast train.

8. EB 1229pm grain train with BNSF 7437-4504 and warbonnet 715 on the point with DPU.
9. EB 1250pm manifest train with warbonnets 205-276 on the pull. Always nice to see all warbonnets on the point.

14. WB 235pm coal train with BNSF 9870-7860-5950 on the pull with DPU.
15. DPU green and cream 9761 on the shove of same train.

16. EB 254pm grain train with BNSF 6193-6105 on the point with DPU.
17. BNSF 485171 heritage Santa Fe hopper. Sorry it was blurry.
18. WB 355pm garbage/intermodal train with BNSF 4752-5087 on the pull.

Back to trip pictures on the way to California, 9/29/14.

19. EB 12noon auto rack/intermodal train along the Columbia River and WA Hwy 14.
20. More of same train.

21. WB 1219pm grain train with BNSF 5190-4492 on the point with DPU in the hole waiting for manifest train.
22. The right of way along Hwy 14.
23. EB 122pm manifest train with BNSF 5457 on the point.
