Toto Tuesday: On the Rolling Plains . . .
Author: SCKP187

This location on the UP Kansas Sub I should dedicate in thanks to Kansas Gangster Lucas mg8711 as he posted some shots a few weeks ago that reminded me how graceful the area is with as many great photo opportunities in a relatively short mileage area. After shooting the Ringling Bros Circus Train in Topeka last week I headed further north to catch more of the busy traffic at Aikins KS arriving as UP 5866 overtakes an auto rack train and glides through the crossover plant Jeffrey, quickly followed by another mt coal as the blocks changed from flashing yellow to green as he approached. Photos October 15 2014 Thanks for looking.

Nice sequence, Brian! Aikins can be a very productive spot. With the directional mainline routing most of the traffic here is eastbound, so you caught one of the rare westbounds!
