... but all four days were perfectly fine with me. It was just great to be out and about, along the mighty Mississippi River, with the Wisconsin and Minnesota bluffs putting on their beautiful, annual show. Offering up a few images from a visit I made October 15-18, out where Hiawathas and Zephyrs used to romp.

Love it, Mark! I sat in my rental car at Homer, MN in the pouring rain w/ fellow NWI'er Jerry Pyfer in summer 2004 waiting for the double-header, CP 2816 and Milw 261.
Was a bittersweet time w/ my mom at Mayo Clinic, but I had to take a break and get trackside. Your weather is decidedly better, too!

Great bunch from a great place to fan.
