Orange on a Blue Wishram Background
Author: CimaScrambler

The pumpkin-colored paint illuminated by orange sodium vapor light makes quite a contrast with a clearing storm blue hour scene on this evening in Wishram, Washington. And a little earlier in the evening, what appeared to be a unit tank train for the Oregon Trunk waits for a new crew and the arrival of a late afternoon northbound before heading for California. It was fully dark before the northbound pulled up to the station platform for a crew change.

Wishram is a beautiful place. Excellent blue-hour shots: my vote for IOTD for the first one.
