Depot Friday: C&NW Carroll IA...
Author: oklachaser

While on my trip thru IA earlier this month I took photos of depots along the way. Here are some photos of the C&NW Depot in Carroll IA. It now houses the Chamber of Commerce. They have done a great job in preserving the depot & the town's railroad history. I think this is one of the most beautiful depots I've seen.
Photos taken October 6, 2014.
There will be a total of 10 photos.

UP didn't take over CNW till 1995. Not sure either why this date is on there.

Relative to the CNW & CGW plaques, does the UP shield somehow reflect a local opinion -- insofar as regarding their affection for Uncle Pete? :D
