Enid, OK.............from the air.
Author: mp208

A beautiful Oklahoma Saturday (10/25)found me at 1000' above the BNSF, UP, and Farmrail/Grainbelt in Enid, OK.
a. FMRC northbound with four leased CITI's after arrival from Clinton, OK
b. BNSF/UP diamond crossing. BNSF (former Frisco) extends to Avard on the left, and to Tulsa on the right. UP (former
Rock Island)extens to Wichita on the top, and to El Reno on the bottom.
c. BNSF yard is quiet with the switchers at rest.

Airplane or were you a bad boy and went above 400 feet with a drone?

Looks like BNSF has concentrated operations at the former ATSF facility ( seen in pic 3 ). The former BN offices appear empty ( pic 1 ).

That grain elevator in the first picture is not in use. It has not been in some time from what I am told. I was told it used to be a Union Equity elevator. Basically all the tracks over there are out of service. MOW uses them from time to time for track machines.

In Pictures #2 and 3, what is the large low building with the pitched roof used for?
