The other day, I posted some photos and a video of my trip down to the Arkansas & Missouri this past Friday in this thread:

Here are three more videos from that trip to give you an idea of some of the line's incredible variety. For one little regional RR, to catch two road-freights, a pair of locals and a regularly scheduled passenger train in just a few hours is nothing short of amazing.

This first video is of the A&M T6 #18 running the Springdale Switcher in their yard on the town's north side. At this point, it was building the NB Monett Turn that we'll see later.

Such a cool operation, always a pleasure to watch, but I really wish I'd had better taken advantage of its general proximity to my permanent address than I have previously. Lived within 200 miles of this railroad for 24 years, and I've only visited a half dozen times.

Yeah man, same here. This was the third time I'd been down there, but just the first that I've actually chased anything. And while I generally have no beef against ACe's, its just NOT the same type of operation with them running as opposed to the ALCOs. There's a significant drop in cool points.

Great videos of Alco action. I could be blindfolded and only hear the sound of those locomotives and immediately identify them as Alcos. Thanks so much for sharing.
