And Now, the Rest of the Story
Author: rrartist

After CP 2/470, UP 1989 departed in darkness, I sought out what else I find on this cold and cloudy Wednesday. CP 475, UP 6744 add a splash of Amour Yellow to the drab browns and grays of late Fall in Dakota MN. Fairly fresh BNSF SD70Ace 8583 stands out against similar colors just south of La Crosse with train U-SEMBIR and lastly in a contrast of noses, CN SD60F 5545 leads a oil load east bound towards Chicago.

Dig those UP dash-9s. Probably one of the few schemes that look good on a CW44

UP on the CP, Yuck! We got burned with that when we were back there but I guess if you don't see UP that often, it would be OK:}
At least it is a nice winged engine and an ex-C&NW, the old 8640.
Good catch on the cool looking CN leader!

Love the cowl leader. We never get those out here in the west.
