last light on the Joint Line . .
Author: 3rdswitch

. . after a tip from a fellow TO'er headed up to Larkspur, CO, located on the joint UP-BNSF Denver Pueblo Joint Line main to intercept a southbound BNSF manifest led by a pair of Warbonnet's catching him in Larkspur minutes shadows took over (top) then raced ahead to the "sag" a couple miles north of Palmer Lake to catch a southbound BNSF coal load ahead with one of the few old MAC's painted in newest BNSF scheme literally seconds before the sun was gone (bottom) for the day.
