BNSF is gradually shutting down the Raton branch and shifting the traffic to Abo/Belen. You never have to wait long to get some great shots in that area.

John, nice pacing video. I have a pacing rig set up for my car too. I'll be using it this weekend along Cima Hill, UP's Cima Sub.

Gradually? There hasn't been freight on the Raton line since about 2007.

That is what I was going to say. 'Gradually' doesn't even come close to when they shut traffic off of the Raton line it was so far back.
