Railfanning down the MIssissippi ended up in Prairie du Chien WI.. this is Cheesehead country... found this little watering hole (image 1) across from the old CB&Q (now BNSF) station (image 2).. note the packers sign above the bar (image 3)... yes open the screen door for the shot (image 4).. 12 August 2013...

A nice friendly bar with windows and adjacent to a mainline is always welcome especially on very hot or very cold days.
