Unit Steel Coil Trains

Do unit steel coil trains still run on the BNSF Transcon?

I haven't seen any pictures lately. If they are still running do you know the schedule?

None on the BNSF transcon as of the first of this year.

Not sure weather you are talking about the northern transcon or the southern transcon, but I spotted two unit steel coil trains in Flagstaff, AZ back in March.

I have never seen a unit coil train come through the Spokane region, so that should help narrow the transcon choices.

The contract ended at the end of last year. Either you saw an equipment movement or just the last of the run, but it's done for now.
