New Camera at Soda Springs?

A (relatively) new camera has sprouted at Soda Springs on the Roseville sub, aimed at the grade crossing. Curious as to purpose - - road traffic is minimal, but MoW crews often use the crossing for access.

Not sure how effective that camera will be in the winter during a storm especially if it's facing southeast. I see lots of ice in the lens in it's future.
