It Was a Busy, Foggy Day at Con's Corner
Author: ptroyal

It was a very busy day at Con's corner. An empty rail train and a east bound local in the yard. A Fracing train passing going west bound. A local waiting to go west to Athens. And the yard switcher waiting for everyone to get out of the way so he can take a covered hopper south on the industrial spur.

For those of us who don't live in your spare bedroom,
please be kind enough,(WHEN YOU POST), to tell the rest of the
world , when, where, what RR's you are reporting about.

Named for the late "Con Sweet", a long time TO member
who sadly passed away from cancer several years ago.

And, a heck of a nice man. I will never forget his last message on T.O. telling us his time had run out and telling us all goodbye.

Boy, you've got that right, Tom. I don't think any us who were here then will ever forget.

RIP, Con...

Come on down to the Cotton Belt Depot in Tyler, Texas and visit our little RR Museum. You can watch the UP trains on the Corsicana Sub pass by.
