A couple Zs in NM and AZ
Author: Super_C

Attached are shots of a couple of BNSF Z trains taken back in 2009 and 2010 in New Mexico and Arizona.

Pictures #1 and #2 are of BNSF 4080 West, Z KCKLAC1 28A, taken on May 28, 2009 at Willard, NM on the Clovis Subdivision. This is where the scenery starts to change from the relatively flat eastern plains of New Mexico to the Monzano Mountains through which Abo Canyon passes.

Picture #3 is BNSF 4482 West, Z WSPSTO9 13A, taken on June 14, 2010 approaching the eastern end of Crozier Canyon on the Seligman Subdivision in northwestern Arizona.

I suppose that these qualify for Valmont's "Big Sky" description (http://www.trainorders.com/discussion/read.php?11,3607648)
