Virginian Southern

Heads up! NS 8099 (Southern unit) and NS 1069 (Virginian unit) are in Galesburg this morning and are scheduled to depart on the H-GALCWY9-21A at 1145 with the NS 7630 as the leader. The train is a Chicago bound train and should be running up the Chillicothe sub (but don't quote me on it). However, as we all know, that is the tentative departure and can vary by 24 hours.

If I'm not mistaken, the H-GALCWY goes via Streator, IL and the Kankakee Belt as NS 10R.

Unless it has been rerouted, the train runs on the Chillicothe sub to Streator where it gets on the NS Kankakee line. It usually departs Galesburg late morning but that can always change. Thanks for the heads up, I would like to finally see the Virginian.

Crew is called for 1450 and estimated to depart by 1600. NS 7630 is also in the consist.
