This was a mp4 file from my iPhone of one of the many recorded inaccurate axle counts of the MP-591 detector on the KCS Alliance sub. It was not from this train but from another train a couple of months ago for added humor. And yes, this detector has issues. Its not always playing with a full deck. DH Edited 1 time(s). Date: 01/24/15 19:39 Re: KCS runs longer and faster Author: kd0086 It is called a wayside horn, (automatic horn systems) used in quiet zone areas. Once the crossing gates are activated, it sounds the two long, one short and one long as if the locomotive is blowing its horn.
