Author: glord Caught this Republic rebuild in switching service at Council Bluffs IA in late 1980,s. Don,t know if any more were built but I heard this one burned up on the UP or SP in trials.

I read that it is now at Bethel, Minnesota. Don Strack's Utah Rails site has some info on it in the UP rosters, and there are some photos on RR Pictures Archives, including some taken last year in Minnesota.
