1. Most folks shoot from the top of Hill 582. This one is from the bottom of the Hill.
2. Here's one from Verdemont, north of the Cargil Plant.
3. And another just east of Hill 582 on a dark stormy day.

Don, that new camera mount on your Mobility Scooter gets you some nice low angle shots.

Was the haze really that bad as depicted in photo 2? It almost looks manipulated!

Great job taking a very well photographed spot and showing it in a new way.

What's so different about these?

In re the dark exposures, I don't know what's happening here. For some reason these are ending up way underexposed. The originals are fine but when they get posted on this board they come out under exposed. Number 2 was a very hazy day but no-way as bad as this posting in re the exposure. The originals are also much sharper so it may be that they are getting compressed or re-sampled in the posting process on this site. The photos are well within the specs for this site as far as posting.
