It matches the ISCLB best, but longer than usual. A KG3LB is usually DPU and no trailers, a ZBRLC usually doesn't have that many marine cans. The BNSF train could be one of many Qs. Could be the QNYCLAC6, which has a lot of rear domestic cans to cut off at San Bernardino. mapboy Date: 02/22/15 12:44 Re: Sullivans Curve - UP Stack and BNSF Stack Author: ns1000 NICE video!!

Many of them have been getting quite long, as in 8000+ feet! On the day that this video was shot, I worked the QCHILAC6 to Barstow, arriving there late morning. While we were detraining, a westbound UP went by that looked exactly like the ISCLB except it had a DP motor on the rear. While going off duty I looked and it was a KDULB (they've been detouring some of the Dupo trains on the LA&SL recently, just as they've been detouring some traffic on BNSF). The ISCLB was not far behind the DULB and I remember it had 4 units, so this was probably that train. -Tom |
