Whats the story on all the covered gondola cars
Author: photobob

This type of train has been through there before...no idea what it is. Maybe some re-route from the Blue Mtn. line?

Probably a OVWWO reroute off the La Grande sub derailment yesterday headed back to Wendover, UT

Empty copper concentrate train. The loaded train runs from Wendover, NV to the Port of Vancouver, WA.

Trucked over the hill from Ely because the NN isn't running to Shafter, lately, anymore.

Not necessarily related to the derailment, these trains often originate on Sunday nights out of Vancouver & run South on the Brooklyn Sub Monday morning. This timing would put them through Dunsmuir overnight, which is why the camera & Bob aren't catching them...apparently in this case the Cascade Sub derailment set the train back.
