With the fast pace of this train and the cloudy conditions I had to pick and choose my locations. 1st is the east end of the canyon 2nd and 3rd is the train approaching and departing lang station marker .

Great shots! All of them are excellent, but the first and last are great. I love the landscape on all, the fifth shot reminds me of the 1971 movie "Duel." Great movie and all with SP trains running through there. You got a great chase in here!

Some very rare angles there on the north (Antelope Valley) side of Soledad Canyon. In fact, I've never seen shots from there before. It's amazing how green things for from two weekends of rain.

I will second these two points!

Great series, Tim. That is a great angle and killer light in photos 2-3, thanks for putting in the effort to get these photos. Some great last light at Lang as well!

I really like the next to last shot, Tim. I like those theater cars. I have a few shots from inside of the theater car plus a couple of other cars in the train.

If I can find them I'll post them.
