UP Passenger Special Thru Stockton

The UP passenger Special departed Roseville at 6 A.m. and was rolling thru Stockton at good speed at 7:30 A.m...the 19 car train had 8142-8128 as the power.

Does anyone know the purpose of this move -- where is the special headed? It didn't look like a live move.
The number of cars suggests they might be repositioning the business car fleet
