I was able to get away for a few trains on Monday starting with BNSF train H-NTWBRC and the BNSF 757, this train was followed by the U-KEEMAD running behind the BNSF 9049.

Tuesday brought me a primarily cloudy day where as I spent about an hour in Dakota MN and netted the following, NS 6335 leading CP train 581 and the CSXT 5267 leading CP 470.

The sun decided to make a very brief appearance as Amtrak's Empire Builder raced through Dakota, maybe it was the clean lead motor or the very friendly engineer, but the sun was nice for the minute it was out. Speaking of something that warms your heart, how about four SD/GP-40s pounding along the river, their roar echoing off the bluffs, indeed! CP H-19 slices into Dakota after meeting Amtrak a few miles to the south at River Junction. Have a GREAT week!!!
