Author: dirtbag There is no doubt that California and the many railfans I met out there played a huge role in my photography. Though I may not consider most of them friends now due to drama I'm still grateful for the opportunity to have learned from them. In this thread I decide to give a look back at some of my photos from California. Hopefully on visits back Ill be able to gather more images from where it all started.
Enjoy Joe Minor 1. On a early December evening Amtrak train 536 lights up Tunnel 18 on its run to Auburn. The tunnel notches can be seen from the recent double stack upgrade on the line. 2. The shadows have already engulfed the Feather River canyon as the MNPRV passes through the trestle at Tobin. 3. On a cold foggy morning UP 580 works through Emigrant Gap as they approach Switch 9. The Mid train dpu's can be seen at the location of Boca.
