Cameron Over/Under
Author: SantaFe9820

I found this eastbound manifest featuring an NS ACE and a CEFX SD60 parked west of the Cameron Connection. I set up near the Transcon crossing, knowing there was a westbound approaching, hoping to get an over/under shot. Sure enough, the westbound went over (note the one-of-a-kind Golden Swoosh third out), but not before my phone ran out of memory and I had to run and grab my iPod, barely getting it set up in time for the shot. Luck was on my side!   -Link

That was a lucky catch in many ways! The 7695 was on either the Q-CHISTO or Z-WSPALT, can't remember. I was east of Chillicothe and saw it from behind the GALCSX. Thanks for sharing!

Nice catch! I hope you went out and bought a lottery ticket after that...

Good work-- I like that location at Cameron.  Planning a trip to Galesburg really soon
and we always wander out to the Over/Under.  One of my local friends there is an 80+
year old Galesburg native who used to play on those trestle stones when he was very
young.  He saw all the great Burlington and Santa Fe psgr. trains speeding by, back in "the day."

Well!  You certainly pulled this sequence right out the old aperture.

Nice work!

John.
