On my webpage today:
Amtrak Texas Eagles 21 and 22 at Little Rock, Arkansas on Tuesday
night-Wednesday morning, March 31-April 1, 2015. I decided to stay and
catch both middle of the night Eagles. Locomotive 189, the Big Game
locomotive, was on the southbound Eagle 21. I also caught a couple of
freights, including one with UP 1982, the Missouri Pacific heritage,
in the consist. While at the Amtrak station, I ran into a lady who had
worked at the Little Rock Public library with my late wife and we had
a nice chat about all those days when I used to visit. She and some
others were heading to Chicago. Fortunately tonight, both Eagles were
less than an hour late.
