Ted Curphey Ontario, OR Date: 04/13/15 04:44 Re: Lava Hot Springs and Bancroft on the OSL Author: donstrack Chris, I looked at the USGS topographic map and it shows a few railroad tracks at that same location, which is marked with a crosshair, including a wye. I don't know near enough about railroads in Idaho, but I think that Conda was served by UP, but these tracks were private, from Conda to the various phosphate mines in Dry Valley.

Tor in Eugene Date: 04/13/15 09:07 Re: Lava Hot Springs and Bancroft on the OSL Author: Pacific5th looking at Google Earth you can definitly see there tracks up to and around the "round house". I would say it is definitly a roundhouse that has been re-covered and re-pourpsed.
