Great pics! I would say your roundhouse likely was a railroad roundhouse covered in  sheet metal.

Chris, I looked at the USGS topographic map and it shows a few railroad tracks at that same location, which is marked with a crosshair, including a wye. I don't know near enough about railroads in Idaho, but I think that Conda was served by UP, but these tracks were private, from Conda to the various phosphate mines in Dry Valley.

Excellent shots: that rock formation near Bancroft is something else. I don't see many OSL pictures here, probably because it's so remote.

looking at Google Earth you can definitly see there tracks up to and around the "round house". I would say it is definitly a roundhouse that has been re-covered and re-pourpsed.
