Date: 04/17/15 15:05 Re: The Big Curve At Camarillo Author: DNRY122 Is this the curve south of the city of Camarillo--many years ago (1981?) I got photos of a 4449 special leaving LA Union Station, then got on US 101 and raced into Ventura County. Heading south on CA 34, I got to the curve just in time to get shots of the special racing by. Any thoughts of giving chase were abandoned as the Daylight Northern sped off into the west, back on home rails. My old pickup truck was no match for that.
