Flare Friday with SP in FL

SP 7431 in Baldwin, FL on 02/16/1996. Really a dirty unit this late in the game.

I've always liked SP 7431 since it was the lone manned helper based in Dunsmuir, CA in the mid 1990s. I got lots of photos of it and a fellow modeller created this for me in N scale.

I grew up in Tallahassee. And in the pre-internet age of railfans not knowing everything in advance, we'd get to see SP power on run-through trains about once a week or so, along that same line that went east/west through Baldwin. Never got a photo of any of that power but I saw them a few times.

That's not too dirty for an SP unit.
