WSOR psgr DH move: a very soggy heads-up...
Author: santafe199

I'm sitting in Cherryvale (KS) watching it rain cats & dogs. I've got my eye on the old Santa Fe red brick depot platform. The saturated color of the bricks is a close match to the red/maroon of the WSOR E-9 #101 + 3 biz cars. The SKOL mechanical boys have been doing their best to solve a problem with one of the 101's motors. The train limped into town yesterday evening after having spent over an hour stopped at Caney, KS while the SKOL mechanical mobile truck guys first attempted to fix the trouble. I believe they still plan to get the train to Winfield today, but my guess is that isn't 100% anymore. I will try to post an update. Meanwhile I'm looking into some pontoon-type floats for my poor waterlogged vehicle; "Willie II"...
