The day started as most days start with a spin past the BNSF North La Crosse (WI) yard, with a 12 hour work windows somewhere to the east I didn't expect to see much BNSF action today. BNSF 7637 leads the Q-CHCPTL west bound towards the Twin Cities and with that it was time to head across the River to the CP Rail where I found the NS 6996 leading CP 280 near Homer MN.

I caught CP 280 in Dakota MN in the top two images and again in La Crosse. I've grown to like theses NS SD60E motors!

Here is one last look at the NS 6996 and the impeccable second motor, the UP 9435. This motor was spotless! Lastly ex-UP SD90, NS 7281 leads CP train 581 past the Amtrak depot and to points west. Have a GREAT weekend!!!
