Western Railroad Discussion > Cable (Tehachapi) This morningDate: 04/18/15 12:44 Cable (Tehachapi) This morning Author: KF6MXK Ever since the gas pipeline explosion on the 17th all that has been going by my backyard overlooking Cable has been BNSF trains. I haven't seen any UP trains in either direction.

Date: 04/18/15 13:04 Re: Cable (Tehachapi) This morning Author: TCnR Yep, so...inquiring minds want know if UPRR is just holding trains until they fix the track, or running down the Coast, or maybe detouring over the BNSF but not quiet yet, maybe going the long way over Donner to SLC, or just sitting at home reading TrainOrders.

Date: 04/18/15 14:20 Re: Cable (Tehachapi) This morning Author: ble692 The ZDLGRP (loaded Railex reefers) out of Delfar went south via Tehachapi and then east via the LASL last night. The ZLCBR went via the Coast today. Everything else was just parked until things opened back up this morning.
