Photos March 2015 Thanks for looking Brian Stevens Date: 04/24/15 13:20 Re: Depot Friday: CB&Q . . . Author: Ritzville Very Nice series of photos Brian. You always find such interesting depots! I like all three shots!
Larry Date: 04/24/15 14:59 Re: Depot Friday: CB&Q . . . Author: santafe199 In July of 2011 I passed through Holdrege on my way to a wedding in Montana. I was delightred to discover the building seen dead-center in your image #2 still had the name "Zephyr" attached. But in 2011 it was a laundry, instead of the Cafe it was back in the 80's. Did you by chance notice the building when you were there? It's the light gray looking building with the black stripe around the upper part. Here's a link to my thread from 4 years ago:

Did you see the sickle momer for a RR? Must have attached to the front of a motor car. That is the only one I've ever seen. upkpfan Date: 04/24/15 20:48 Re: Depot Friday: CB&Q . . . Author: SCKP187 santafe199 Wrote:

I noticed the Zephyr building because that is where I parked the car and then went walking around the grounds taking photos. And as Marvin mentioned--there is a sickle mower attachment on the auxiliary MofW equipment--what a neat way to keep the right of way trimmed up.
