Western Railroad Discussion > UP 7777 and 2233 Mojave

The UP flyer from WC to Mojave had for power UP 7777 ,2284, 2422, and 2233 a SD60.

The LOP 53 for power has a repainted SD60M with a USA Flag and building American 2379. The other 2 engines are 2444, and 2451.

This power should be around Mojave for a few days.

Do have pics of that flag painted SD60M?!?!? I'd love to see that!

Those lucky 7s have been getting around town!  Tuesday's westbound BNSF Kaiser Hauler L-CAL011l had BNSF 7777 in the rear end DPU.  It may still be around SoCal.

I had thought all the early ES44DC's in the 7770 series were assigned 
to Barstow and So Cal.  I know we never see them on the east end.

A lot of 7700s here.  5 out of the 6 BNSF haulers that I saw (BAR to/from SDG/WAT/KAI) had 3 to 5 solid sets of 7700s.
