Western Railroad Discussion > Royal Slope Railroad ReduxDate: 07/02/15 14:53 Royal Slope Railroad Redux Author: terrybaker Last month I was driving across Central Washington and decided to check out what was happening, if anything, on the Royal Slope Railroad in Royal City. And the answer was... nothing. Looks like they're still trying to find an operator. All photos taken 6/21/15:
1) Looking East, the switch is lined for the track going down the hill to connect with the former MILW main. 2) Looking West, this is the tail track for entering the Royal City yard/industrial area; essentially, it's a switchback at the top of the hill. 3) MRS-1 B-2070; hasn't moved in ? years. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 07/02/15 14:59 by terrybaker. about getting rail service, must have been for another Royal Slope. Out Date: 07/02/15 18:01 Re: Royal Slope Railroad Redux Author: up833 C_O..you got it right..hurry up and wait.. Its a If we Build it They Will Come kind of thing.
