Western Railroad Discussion > Junction City, Oregon Also the COPDate: 07/02/15 17:15 Junction City, Oregon Also the COP Author: Fred Does the UP have street running there or just the PNWR ?
Up at Prineville, what type of schedule does the COP have? Thanks again for all your help & suggestions, Fred Woodhaven, Michigan Date: 07/02/15 18:58 Re: Junction City, Oregon Also the COP Author: SilvertonRR100 P&W does the only street running in Junction City.
COP runs weekdays and it all depends on the traffic, but going west seems to be a morning trip. They may tie up at the junction with the BNSF, and come back the next morning. Soem evenings, you may find an engien parked at the junction. It is kept on the NW side of Prineville when there. Not easily accessed there. Usually one of the GP-9s for power. There will also be two local jobs working the nroth end of Eugene each weekday. The Albany Hauler usually is a night trip. Fred Date: 07/03/15 15:24 Re: Junction City, Oregon Also the COP Author: roustabout Update: The American Turn has been using a GP39-2 lately, half of the Albany Hauler power, which is a night run. The other half, the remote unit, is on a daylight switcher that works the Teevin lead. GP9 1801 usually is used by the daylight (and night) Eugene Switcher.
