Western Railroad Discussion > CN unit grain train leaves Vancouver, BC for points southDate: 07/03/15 00:06 CN unit grain train leaves Vancouver, BC for points south Author: Marcus This CN unit grain train left British Columbia for points south on Thursday evening.
Four CN locomotives, in a 2+2 arrangement, and an immaculate set of covered hoppers, all built in 2015. The train is photographed on the BNSF New Westminster Subdivision, just a few miles north of the border, near Crescent Beach. Robert Posted from iPhone Date: 07/03/15 14:11 Re: CN unit grain train leaves Vancouver, BC for points south Author: Marcus Thanks for the kind comments.
Leader = IC 2713 One of the hoppers = CGOX 5484 - Built 5/15 The last one of these trains came back with a UP leader, so likely switches to UP at some point. Edited 1 time(s). Hopefully it gets delayed so I can see it in daylight. Or I'll have to wait for the return trip north. Hoping for a daylight run from Mt. Shasta south.
