I caught a glimpse of the segment during lunch today.

OMG!
UNBELIEVEABLE INTENTIONAL BEHAVIOR!

What's to stop these idiotic actions?

No  wonder people race the gates/trains in their cars...

Who did the 'video capture'of this idiot & why.?
To encourage the fool?
All participants the perp, the video taker/'poster' , etc ,  ALL need to be charged and sentenced.

I kind of doubt the "this could derail the train" comment in the report. Make it stop to be hosed off yes, derail it no unless it hit his very thick skull.

your somewhat or perhaps waaaay overboard on the vidoegrapher being a participant in the illegal activity ... i know i surely would video myself if i saw this behavior ... and if i read the article and comprehended what wasn't printed ... i believe the video was sent to the railroad which commented on this idiotic behavior ...

the UPRR were the ones who made the statement that this kind of activity could derail a train and i believe the reason to be that anytime a train goes into emergency there's always a possibility of a derailment

I just saw the video on KTLA 5 News this morning (Saturday). What a total, FIRST CLASS idiot!  At first, I thought this was in California, but this took place in Houston, TX. Unbelieveable..
