Western Railroad Discussion > Triple Track Museum?Date: 08/03/15 19:34 Triple Track Museum? Author: MacBeau After unintentionally being exposed to the political drivel coming out Washington D.C. today, the memory of having seen Powder River Basin in better times was quite gratifying. This three train show was recorded back in ’10 at MP97 on the Orin Sub.

Date: 08/04/15 16:26 Re: Triple Track Museum? Author: speederman01 I highly doubt that the PRB will go back to branch line status.

Author: bradleymckay PRB and Illinois coal will see some reductions, thanks mostly to cheap (for now) natural gas, but they are not going away any time soon. What's happening in Appalachia is another story...

Depends on where you go. Not rare in the NW. But driving a day out to the middle of nowhere to see a unit coal train rolling across the same rolling hills as half the west ? Might as well go to a big city and watch the subway. Edited 1 time(s). Last edit at 08/05/15 08:26 by Stottman. Date: 08/06/15 18:06 Re: Triple Track Museum? Author: wesleygreer The PRB is still going very strong. Was passing through there a few weeks ago and saw multiple three train meets.
